- 1 medium onion

- 3½ cups (875 mL) chicken stock
- ½ tsp (2 mL) black pepper
Directions:
- Place 1 tbsp butter in your Rockcrok® Everyday Pan. Heat over medium 3–5 minutes until melted, swirling to coat the bottom.
- Chop onion with the Food Chopper, press in the garlic, and add both—plus rice—to the pan.
- Cook uncovered for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently, until rice is lightly toasted and smells amazing.
- Remove from heat. Stir in the chicken stock and black pepper.
- Cover and microwave on HIGH for 15–17 minutes, until most of the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
- Stir in Parmesan, the remaining butter, and any optional Add-Ins below. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
