🧂 The Original Risotto

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter, divided
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup (250 mL) uncooked Arborio rice
  • 2 oz (60 g) fresh Parmesan cheese, grated (½ cup/125 mL)
  • 3½ cups (875 mL) chicken stock
  • ½ tsp (2 mL) black pepper

Directions:

  1. Place 1 tbsp butter in your Rockcrok® Everyday Pan. Heat over medium 3–5 minutes until melted, swirling to coat the bottom.
  2. Chop onion with the Food Chopper, press in the garlic, and add both—plus rice—to the pan.
  3. Cook uncovered for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently, until rice is lightly toasted and smells amazing.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in the chicken stock and black pepper.
  5. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 15–17 minutes, until most of the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
  6. Stir in Parmesan, the remaining butter, and any optional Add-Ins below. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

🎉 Boom. Risotto. No drama. No constant stirring. You’re welcome.
