🥗 I’m in my Salad Era — Are you?

Let’s talk about salad, friends.
Not the sad desk salad. Not the iceberg-only snoozefest. I’m talkin’ vibrant, flavorful, build-it-your-way salad magic. 🥗

Lately, I’ve been craving meals that are fresh, fast, and full of feel-good ingredients—and salads are delivering like a five-star takeout order (without the drive-thru guilt).

And the best part? When you’ve got the right tools and a few flavor tricks up your sleeve, salad night becomes something to look forward to.

🥄 1. Salad Doesn’t Mean Lettuce

You know what counts as a salad?

  • Pasta Salad (hello Pizza Pasta Salad 👀)
  • Fruit + Nut Salad (like my new fave: Cherry, Mint & Pistachio)
  • Grain Bowls with quinoa, roasted veggies, and grilled chicken
Salad is a vibe, not a recipe. 🙌

🛠 2. The Right Tools Make a Big Difference

Chopping veggies? Use the Twist & Chop or the Food Chopper and feel like a kitchen ninja.
Making homemade dressing? Grab the Measure, Mix & Pour.
Serving it up picnic-style? The Cool & Serve Bowl is your bestie.

Basically, let the tools do the heavy lifting while you take the credit. 💅

🐓 3. Grill It & Chill It

Grilled protein + fresh greens = chef’s kiss.
I love making extra grilled chicken on Sunday (thank you Grill Pan!) and using it throughout the week for everything from Caesar salads to taco bowls.

Pro tip: Chill your salad plates or bowls before serving—it’s a little fancy, and a lot refreshing.

🎨 4. Make It Pretty, Make It Yours

Play with color, texture, and toppings. Here are a few combos I love:

  • Sweet & Savory: Strawberries + feta + almonds + balsamic
  • Southwest Flair: Black beans + corn + avocado + chipotle ranch
  • Mediterranean Moment: Cucumber + tomato + olives + lemon vinaigrette

And don’t forget the crunch—croutons, seeds, or crushed tortilla chips. Add it. Always. 👏

🥗 Now You Stir It Up:

On the next episode of Stirrin’ It Up with Robin, I’ll be tossing together a fresh green salad loaded with juicy fruit, crisp veggies, and yummy cheese—the kind that looks straight out of a café but takes just minutes to whip up at home.
