Flipping the 80/20 Rule (Back the Right Way!)

You’ve heard of the 80/20 rule when it comes to eating, right? 80% healthy choices, 20% indulgence. Well… turns out, I may have had those numbers completely backward. Oops. 🤦🏻‍♀️

But I’m ready to get back on track! Lately, I’ve been making a real effort to eat better—because let’s be honest, I’m not getting any younger, and apparently, coffee and cookies don’t count as a balanced diet. Who knew? 🤷🏻‍♀️

So, I’ve embraced clean eating, and believe it or not, I can already feel the difference! More energy, fewer cravings, and I swear my jeans are slightly less judgy. (Or maybe I finally broke them in—either way, I’ll take it! 😆)

Now, don’t get me wrong—the 20% is still happening. I’m just making sure it’s a treat, not a lifestyle. No more eating like a raccoon in a 24-hour convenience store. When I indulge, I’ll actually enjoy it, without guilt or the need to “start over Monday.”
